Pilgrimage to Italy's classic and "eternal" destinations with added bonuses.

Our classic "Eternal Italy" pilgrimage, but with a couple of added pluses! On this pilgrimage you'll be able to enjoy a top-notch visit of Rome’s treasures along with a great spiritual visit to Assisi, following in the footsteps of St. Francis and St. Clare.

In addition to majestic Rome and Vatican City, and peaceful Assisi, visit also the amazing City of Siena (land of the great St. Catherine and the Eucharistic Miracle of Siena), and Nettuno (the resting place of St. Maria Goretti), and pray at the stunning American Cemetery near the battle site of Anzio Beach (some argue that this veteran cemetery is more beautiful than Normandy's)!

Remember that a Plenary Indulgence is offered to pilgrims (meeting all the traditional requirements) who visit the 4 Patriarchal Basilicas of the Catholic Church (in Rome) as well as the Porziuncula in Assisi (inside St. Mary of the Angels, the Mother Church of the entire Franciscan Order - where the name of Los Angeles California comes from - Santa Maria de los Angeles)!

Other indulgences are granted to those pilgrims who pray at several other places available in this pilgrimage (following the prescribed indulgence requirements).  There is more, but it is easier to read the brochure! Just click on the brochure button for more information.

Spiritual Directors/Chaplains: Fr. Kevin Finnegan (Pastor of Our Lady of Grace, Edina, MN, Archdiocese of St. Paul/Minneapolis. Veteran Mater Dei Chaplain).

Pilgrimage Director: Dennis Gaetano (From True Catholic Pilgrimages, Mater Dei's affiliate).

* Airfare included from Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport.
